PSP used to have this issue whereby you need to plug your charger to your PSP and make sure your PSP is charging at the same time when you initial a firmware update.

As I have lost my PSP charger for quite sometime, and using extender battery charger, I can’t be bother to update my firmware for quite some time.

Out of the blue, I decided to give it a try yesterday, and the update went without any problem. I didn’t even have a full bar for battery life, only 2 bars and it didn’t complain about that.
